I’ve looked and typed the word mama so much today it is starting to look weird. But progress was made! It is still pretty bare, but the bones are there. Much more content and customization to go. I wanted to start with something really clean and simple to start with.

Anyone in the Facebook group that wants to send in articles can do it anytime. I asked about it four months ago any there was interest but nobody sent anything. Of course I completely understand how that happens. I mean, it was FOUR months ago and here I am just now trying to add something myself. Mamas are busy!

Also, nothing here is set in stone. This is very much a work in progress. I just needed to get started with something!

Update 12/2020: This was my very first post on this blog, just over four years ago! The Facebook group mentioned here fizzled, nobody ever sent in an article, and I decided to just do it all myself. As a result, it turned into a personal mommy blog, where I mostly complained about my life with a toddler. Slowly I worked the “geek” back into Geek Mamas and now I’m at a turning point where I’d like to follow my original vision of being more a Geek Culture blog, from a female perspective. As a result, I’m going through all my posts and adding an update and figuring out how to fit four years of blogging into my new categories!
