Allergy Eye Relief from Similasan

When a box arrived from Moms Meet and Similasan, plastered with a big red Allergy Survival Kit sticker, it could not have shown up at a better time. This is an unedited, unfiltered and very unhappy photo of me that day:

puffy eyes from allergies

The pollen count was high and my allergies were in full swing, working overtime to add in puffy eyes to my already stuffed up nose and non-stop sneezing. My eyes were itchy and watery. They were so bad that I actually started to worry I somehow had contracted Pink Eye. But no, I was just suffering from really bad allergies that were making me miserable. So I dove into the allergy relief products from Similasan and started squirting the drops in my eyes until they didn’t feel so puffy and irritated.

The drops gave me immediate relief from the burning and itchiness and by the next day, the puffiness had subsided. The bottle for the drops is really unique. I was expecting the typical plastic squeezy eye dropper bottle, but the bottle is glass with an elongated plastic tip that you squeeze to dispense the product.

The nice thing about the Similasan products is that they are homeopathic and made without any harsh chemicals so you can use them as often as you need without the risk of side effects. Traditional over-the-counter eye drops often use chemicals such as vasoconstrictors to remove redness and mask symptoms, where Similasan of Switzerland Allergy Eye Relief works differently, by using natural active ingredients and botanical extracts to stimulate the body’s natural defenses.

Their Allergy Eye Relief drops contain extracts of two flowers known for their healing properties: Eyebright (Euphrasia) and Sabadilla lily (Sabadilla). Eyebright is a flower that has been used since the Middle Ages to treat eye problems and is intended to temporarily relieve minor symptoms of eye discharge, redness and swelling of the eyelid. Sabadilla is a flower from the lilly family and is intended to temporarily relieve watery eyes and eyelid redness.

Similasan Allergy Eye Relief typically retails for $6.98 at Walmart. Prices vary by retailer. Visit https://www.similasanusa.com/where-to-buy for a full list of locations. And make sure to Click Here for your $1 Off Coupon!

I’m happy to say I’m back to normal and no longer puffy, but I’m keeping my Allergy Survival Kit close by in case the pollen strikes again!
