Paid Partnership with Kopari Beauty Scam Alert

The Kopari Beauty paid partnership scam is still going on, so I wanted to share this. They recently reached back out to me after turning them down back in February. I figure people must be falling for it if they are still sending e-mails.

The scam e-mails come from bookingkoparibeauty@gmail.com, which is your first clue it isn’t real. As you can see in the image below, the website is koparibeauty.com, and a real e-mail from the company would come from this domain.

How the Kopari Beauty Collab Scam Starts

This paid partnership collab scam starts off with a very long e-mail telling you all about the program and Kopari Beauty.

The Intro

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Julia Dyson, and I’m reaching out from KOPARI BEAUTY with an exciting opportunity for collaboration/paid partnership that aligns perfectly with your passion for skincare and cosmetics, as well as your influential online presence.

The Offer

Generous Payment: We appreciate your time and expertise. We offer a payment of $5,000 USD upon successfully completing a three-month partnership, recognizing your dedication to promoting our brand authentically.

The Hook

As part of our agreement, you will have the opportunity to choose 30 products from our shop at no cost. These products will assist you in creating engaging content for our brand.

Please note that a shipment will incur import tax based on the full value of the items. You will be responsible for a shipping fee of $99.00, which covers the shipping cost for the duration of your service to our brand, including customs clearance and border pass permits.

Summary of the Scam

To sum up the scam– they will have you pick out 30 products, which you will never get. You’ll send them $99 to cover the imaginary shipping fees.

They get $99 and you end up getting nothing.

What Happens When You Respond to the Scammer

I wrote them back to say I was interested, to get the rest of the story. I asked if I would be paid by the post, or at the end.

They sent back another really long e-mail explaining “The content can include a mix of Instagram Stories, videos, reels, or feed posts, depending on what you find most suitable. You will be compensated at a rate of $500 per post, or $5,000 at the end of the month after all ten product content have been created.

Then they hit me with the part about the $99 shipping fee.

They also sent me a contract to sign. Part of it is pictured below.

Real Collabs Don’t Have Shipping Fees

If this was a real collab with Kopari Beauty, they would not charge shipping fees.

I wrote them back to let them know I thought $99 was a bit high: “Sorry, I can’t do the $99. That’s pretty high for a shipping fee.”

They wrote me back another really long e-mail to assure me it was legit. They even offered to pay half of it for me! Because if you are scamming someone, $50 is better than nothing.

“The shipping fee must be paid in advance, which can be processed via Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, or bank transfer to our shipping agent. Once the payment is confirmed, we will provide you with a tracking ID, expected delivery date, and your invoice.

You are required to pay this one-time fee due to increased international shipping taxes, new customs charges, and border fees to ensure safe delivery. Since our products ship from our warehouse/production factory, this fee is unavoidable. We also offer a 20% discount code for your audience, applicable for purchases made through your promotion, and shipping anywhere around the world will not be an issue as long as the shipping fee is covered.

This one-time shipping cost will cover the entire three-month collaboration. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that the profit from our collaboration will exceed your initial investment.

As an incentive, the company will cover 50% of the shipping cost, leaving you with a down payment of just $50

Scam Still Going

The original contact as back in February 2025. I didn’t write about it then, because there are so many of these going on, they often disappear pretty quick as well.

But now it’s October and I just got an e-mail today from them asking “Do you still intend on participating in our 2025 paid partnership with Kopari Beauty?

Obviously, the answer is No.

Who is Julia Dyson?

The scam e-mails claim to be from Julia Dyson, and the contract has her name and supposed signature. Of course, these e-mails are not coming from her, as she would have an e-mail from the company domain.

The real Julia Dyson is the Senior Brand Manager at Kopari Beauty, a clean skincare brand based in San Diego. She began her journey with the company as a product innovation intern in 2018 and steadily advanced through roles in social media and brand management.

A graduate of San Diego State University with a background in communication and digital media, Julia now oversees Kopari’s brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and creative campaigns—helping shape the voice and visual identity of one of today’s leading coconut-powered beauty brands.

What she isn’t doing, is sending out fake paid partnership e-mails and stealing money for shipping fees.

So, send this Kopari Beauty scam collab offer to the trash if you get it!
