Custom Fitting Scarecrow Vampire Fangs
Your vampire fang kit by Scarecrow will come with everything you need to custom fit your fangs, and a little bit extra in case you mess up or need to refit your fangs later.
Your kit comes with powder capsules, a liquid mix, stirring stick, little container to mix it in and of course, your teeth.

First, you’ll want to see which teeth you’ll be attaching your fangs to, so try them on and decide that before mixing anything.
Next, mix one capsule of powder and four drops of liquid and stir. It will look really runny at first but eventually turns into a paste. Take the paste and put it in the tooth up both sides. Don’t try and fill the deep cavity, just put the paste on the sides.
Once your paste is in place, push it onto your tooth. Some of the mix will squish out a bit, which is fine, and excess can be wiped off if it’s too much.

Let it set for five minutes, which is easier than it sounds! You’ll want to tilt your head back a bit or might start drooling. Once that one has set, leave it in and start your other tooth.
With both teeth in, wait for 15 minutes before removing them. You might hear a little “pop” when you first release them. You can hear it on my video if you listen closely.
I let them sit for about 30 minutes after that before popping them back in to see how they fit.

Update: Blood Tipped Vampire Fangs
Ted, also known as @IronManJax, gave the blood tipped Scarecrow Vampire Fangs a try and shared his experience and insight.

For Christmas 2023 I wanted to do a Gothic Vampire Santa for a local SantaCon. I mentioned this to Candy. She suggested I try Scarecrow Custom Fangs. I have used other brands of fangs before, but this was my first-time using Scarecrow.
Scarecrow has a nice assortment of fang styles, such as chrome, saber, shredders, and glow in the dark (probably cool in black light). The version I used was the Classic Blood Tipped Fangs. The kits contain everything you need and a QR code provides an easy to follow ‘How To’ video. A heads up, the process does take 20-30 minutes so budget your time wisely.
Applying Scarecrow Fangs
The application process involves mixing a powder, in plastic caplets, with an activating liquid. Slight warning, open the caplets slowly and carefully. I popped one of mine open and about half the powder spilled onto the floor. The kit contains enough for two tries, whew.
Each fang requires one pill’s worth of powder. Once it is a moldable lump put it in a fang then onto your tooth. It is not completely clear when dry so use the wooden stick provided (or a toothpick) to get the overflow off the other teeth before it solidifies. Don’t use a plastic toothpick, it sticks to the molding stuff. After both teeth are in, you are good to go.

Insight, Pros and Cons
Insight: Eat before you put them in. Applied correctly these will stay in a long time. I only took mine out after 4 hours because I wanted to eat a hamburger. I tried to with them in, but I couldn’t completely close my teeth. They really did hold up and with soup I could have kept them in. Choose your style wisely, the ones I used were more appropriate for an actual gory costume.
Pros: Sturdy, good variety of styles, the moldable paste works great, and comes with everything you need. You can buy extra molding stuff from their website.
Cons: You need to plan for prep time (20-30 minutes), can’t eat, talking takes time to work around, and they chafe your lower lip. But that is just stuff you need to plan for and practice working on.
Thank you to Ted for the review and additional insight on applying and wearing Scarecrow Vampire Fangs.
