Outright Games just released PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance, a single-player side-scrolling platformer perfect for little gamers and fans of PJ Masks. The game is based on the popular Disney Junior TV show that follows the adventures of the PJ Masks – a trio of ordinary children by day and masked superheroes by night.

PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance Video Game
There’s an exciting new adventure for little gamers waiting inside the colorful world of PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance. The game is aimed at making it playable for all skill levels, but this means more advanced players might find it not challenging enough to stay interested.
My 8-year-old son gave it a thorough test run on the Nintendo Switch, and although he was a fan of PJ Masks as a toddler, he’s reached the age where he’s outgrown the show. I’d say the best age for the game is six and under, depending on video game skill level and whether they are still into watching the PJ Masks cartoon.
Following an experiment gone wrong, pieces of the PJ Power Q are scattered across the world and beyond. Luna Girl, Night Ninja and Romeo are after the pieces to use for their own evil schemes, so it’s up to the PJ Masks to save the day!
Play as Catboy, Owelette, Gekko, Newton Star, An Yu, Ice Cub, Bastet and Lilyfay as they adventure across four unique locations around and out of this world. You’ll have to utilize the characters’ individual special abilities to make your way through the scenes while avoiding obstacles and eventually confronting each villain in an epic boss battle.

The game makes players feel a bit like they are part of the cartoon, with an intro and cut scenes that keep the game moving. It’s a single player game, so keep that in mind if you have more than one child who wants to play!
The side-scrolling adventure action moves along swiftly with the help of many adaptive playability features like easy enemy AI options, magnetic gems and jump assistance. Kids will be able to easily figure out how to play, and the younger ones won’t get frustrated by repeatedly “dying” and starting over. They’ll actually be able to keep this one going and advance at almost any game skill level.
According to Stephanie Malham, COO of Outright Games, “With its fantastic characters, exciting universe and action-packed storylines, PJ Masks is a natural fit for video games, so it has been a pleasure creating a second video game in this universe. PJ Masks Power Heroes: Mighty Alliance is a bold and dynamic game that expands on and stays true to the already hugely popular franchise. It has been a wonderful experience creating an enjoyable and safe playing experience for young fans, who are just starting to cut their teeth in the world of gaming.”
And that describes it perfectly- it’s great for younger fans just getting into gaming.
