Yesterday WordPress notified me that I had posted my 1000th blog post! So, this is 1001. That’s a lot of posts, but I have been writing this blog for almost 10 years now, which is crazy.

I did not personally write all 1001 posts, as some of them are guest posts. But I did write the bulk of it, and if you include all the posts I’ve written elsewhere, I’m sure I’m well over 1000.
I also have two years of shorter posts where I’m mostly just complaining about being the mom of a screaming toddler. I didn’t start writing useful posts until much later. I still mix it up between useful informative post and me just sharing bits of life as it happens.
1001 Blog Posts Later
A lot has changed since my very first blog posts. I still remember sitting down to write it, staring at the screen and trying to figure out what I wanted to say on that first “Hello World” post.
That would be my first public post, as I was switching over to a public blog after doing an anonymous blog while going through IVF. I had enjoyed the experience and the connections so much that I wanted to go public and keep blogging.
And while it was sporadic those first few years, I’m still here, blogging away.
And not only that, but I’ve created many other blogs since then, for myself and others. But Geek Mamas will always be my main blog.
So, thank you to anyone who’s ever stopped by for a read or dropped a comment on any one of these 1001 blog posts. It’s always much appreciated.
