The animated series Star Trek: Prodigy, Season 1, Episodes 11-20 is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray! Star Trek: Prodigy is an American animated television series created by Kevin and Dan Hageman for Paramount+. It is the first Star Trek series to target younger audiences, and the franchise‘s first solely 3D animated series.

Welcome to the Star Trek Universe

The Star Trek: Prodigy series follows a group of young aliens in the 24th century who find the abandoned starship Protostar. The crew consists of Dal, a Vau N’Akat; Gwyn, a Vau N’Akat/Medusan hybrid; Rok-Tahk, a Brikar; Jankom Pog, a Tellarite; Murf, a blob; and Zero, a Medusan. They are guided by a holographic version of Kathryn Janeway, the former captain of the USS Voyager.

The crew of the Protostar must learn to work together to survive and explore the galaxy. They face many challenges along the way, including the Diviner, a powerful alien who wants to use the Protostar for his own evil purposes.

Star Trek: Prodigy is a story about friendship, adventure, and discovery. It teaches viewers about the importance of teamwork, compassion, and tolerance. The series also introduces new concepts to the Star Trek universe, such as the Vau N’Akat and the Protostar.

  1. Great reviews as always. I’m not sure whether I will watch this show because I’m not the intended target audience for it. I have never been a massive fan of animated television shows. However, I do have an interest in Star Trek films. I remember seeing J.J. Abrams’ films in theaters and being blown away by them. Recently, I had the opportunity to see “Star Trek: Into Darkness” again and was blown away by it. Those films did such a good job of introducing Star Trek towards a modern generation. So, I may check out the show for this reason alone.
