It’s been a pain to sell on Poshmark since they changed to USPS Ground Advantage, but finally there’s a way to get free shipping supplies for USPS Ground Advantage, just like the ones for USPS Priority!

You do need to be a Poshmark seller to order them, but it is free to open a Poshmark account and start a store. You place the order for the supplies through your account. Read on for step-by-step directions.

Why Poshmark Switched from Priority Mail to Ground Advantage

Poshmark made a big change in September 2025 when it moved away from USPS Priority Mail and switched to Ground Advantage for its prepaid labels.

The change was applied across the platform, and sellers were quickly required to stop using Priority Mail packaging or risk additional fees. What had once been a simple system built around free Priority boxes became a frantic search for boxes and envelopes every time an order was placed. I almost stopped selling on Poshmark entirely because it was too hard to find a new box every time.

The main reason behind the switch was cost. Rising Priority Mail rates made it harder for Poshmark to maintain competitive shipping prices, so the platform opted for a more affordable option. This allowed them to lower shipping fees for buyers, which can make a big difference in whether a purchase goes through. (the only good thing about the change)

While Ground Advantage can be a bit slower, many users find the savings worth it. Sellers have had to adjust by using their own packaging, and until recently, you had to provide that yourself.

But now you can easily order your free shipping supplies for USPS Ground Advantage right through your Poshmark account.

Alternatively, you can email USPSPoshmark@victorypackaging.com or call 1-800-610-8734 to order free Ground Advantage boxes and mailers. You will be asked to provide your Poshmark closet name.

How to Order Free Ground Advantage Shipping Supplies on Poshmark

You can place a free order that totals up to 100 items, and they are shipped free as well. You can also place three orders per month, but you need to wait for the first order to arrive to place another one.

Orders will take 5-10 days to arrive. You can select from boxes, envelopes, and padded envelopes.

How to Place an Order in the Poshmark App

1. Go to your Account Tab (@username)
2. Select My Seller Tools.
3. Select Request USPS Supplies.
4. Enter the desired item type and quantity.
5. Select Next.
6. Select your preferred shipping address.
7. Select Confirm to place your order.

How to Place an Order on the Poshmark Website

1. Select your profile picture at the top-right of the page.
2. From the drop-down menu, select Account Settings.
3. Select Request USPS Supplies.
4. Enter the desired item type and quantity. (make sure your total item count is 100 or lower)
5. Select Next.
6. Select your shipping address.
7. Select Done.
8. Select Confirm to place your order

How to Manage Your Ground Supplies Order

I did not get a confirmation e-mail, just a confirmation page on the site. It says I will get an e-mail with tracking details when my order ships.

You can also view your past supply orders and the current status of your orders by heading to the Request USPS Supplies page and selecting Order History at the bottom of the page.

I was able to confirm my order is processing by checking that page.
