Mikhaila Peterson Podcast Scam: Influencers and Bloggers Beware

The latest scam in my inbox is an e-mail from Robbie Adam, representing Mikhaila Peterson, and he’s excited to steal my Facebook page. Well, he doesn’t actually say that exactly, but if you get one of these scammy podcast offers, that’s how it ends. They’ll request to screenshare during a zoom call, and that’s when they get you.

This is the same scam as the ones claiming to be from: Robby Robinson, Tony Terry, Lewis Howes, MacG, Fresh and Fit Miami and Steven Bartlett.

The Page Stealing Podcast Scam

Mikhaila Peterson is in no way involved in this scam. In fact, she probably has no idea they are using her name to trick people. This message gets suspicious right away by starting off with the greeting, “Hello Dear.” I doubt a real offer would start off like that.

Here’s the full text of the e-mail:

Hello Dear, I hope this message reaches you well. I’m Robbie Adam, representing Mikhaila Peterson, and I’m excited to invite you to our upcoming show that centers around fostering holistic well-being for the mind and body.

We will be delving into three vital aspects — Fitness, Mental Health, and Nutrition — to empower our listeners with valuable insights and practical tips. We believe your unique perspective and expertise align perfectly with the themes we’ll be exploring. Your contribution to our podcast could inspire and guide individuals seeking to enhance their overall wellness. Further we are offering a compensation of $2,000 USD for your involvement in this show. Your participation would be a valuable addition to our endeavor to promote a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Thank you for considering our invitation, and I look forward to the possibility of collaborating on this exciting project.

Warm Regards, Robbie Adam

The text in this e-mail is a little different than usual and they’ve dropped the payment down to $2k. Previously, the offer has been $3k. Not that it matters since you’ll never see that money anyway.

I’ve included some more info about how this scam works in my last post about it: Lewis Howes Podcast Scam is the Newest Facebook Page Stealer

I’m sorry if you got that e-mail and got excited about a great opportunity, but I hope you found this post before they scammed you out of your page.

  1. girl, you just saved me a lot of energy, time, and avoided this scam. I got this email but from a different person, the “Dear” at the top and the offer to pay are what felt off, everything else seemed okay. I’ve done tons of podcasts and never got paid because it’s a trade off in exposure for my brand. You’re amazing, thank you!
