The Facebook podcast scam that won’t go away is now using Jimmy Fallon Management to lure in unsuspecting victims in an attempt to take over high-profile Facebook pages. As usual, they’re offering a couple thousand dollars upfront, and the event is sponsored by Nike.
They’ve even started purchasing legitimate sounding domains to up the level of deceit, as this e-mail came from Jimmy Fallon Management: invitation@podcastwithjimmyfallon.com.
A quick check on the domain name shows it was registered four months ago, but no actual website has been built. It was most likely only registered so they could use the legit sounding e-mail.

How the Jimmy Fallon Podcast Scam Works
If you haven’t run into this one yet, the meeting they set up with be by Zoom. Everything will be normal until they let you know they’ll need to help you set up for the podcast. To do that, they’ll need to screenshare to walk you through setting things up.
What they’ll actually be walking you through is them stealing your Facebook page. They only go after verified accounts with a big following, and they have been successful many times.
So, beware of any offers similar to this one! And if any company asks you to screenshare, do not do it unless you can absolutely verify they are a legitimate company.

Who is Jimmy Fallon?
Jimmy Fallon is a well-known American comedian, actor, and television host. He is best recognized for his work on the popular late-night talk show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” which has garnered a wide audience and numerous awards.
Before hosting “The Tonight Show,” Fallon was a cast member on the sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live,” where he gained prominence for his humor and impersonations. Additionally, he has appeared in various films and television series throughout his career.
And while he does do a podcast, I’m sorry to report that he is most likely not going to reach out to you through a random e-mail to be a guest.

Again no replies and three likes. 🫤 I hope you’re at least getting views to indicate people are taking note of your warnings and there’s some appreciation of all your hard work to keep them safe and informed.
I never expect an immediate return on these scam info posts. It happens later when Google picks it up, and then people start searching to see if the e-mail they got is a scam. That’s when the traffic and comments start coming in. I’m playing the long-game, Lol.
Good deal 🙂
Me personally, I’ve always had the “ounce of prevention” mindset since high school. Saw another employee changing out the bulk ketchup dispenser for the kitchen at Burger King. She left the valve open and when she went to put it back in the wall mount, she ended up literally covered in Ketchup.
From then on, I decided it was best to learn from other peoples’ mistakes whenever possible. 🤣
lol! I’ve got another big scam article in the works right now, but I’m still leading the scammer along to get all the details. It’s another check fraud one. These things are ridiculous and seem drawn to me like moth to flame.
That’s probably because they’re blinded by greed and arrogance. They see busty blonde cosplay mom on facebook and they think airhead with a big following because Slave Leia bikini pics. Makes it all the easier for you to play them back. :D
I was thinking the same thing lol
