Everyday Dose Mushroom Coffee Review after 1 Month

This is an independent review of Everyday Dose mushroom coffee, after purchasing and trying their coffee for a month. I’ll also compare it to the taste and effects of another popular mushroom coffee.

All About Everyday Dose

In all honesty, Everyday Dose is the best tasting instant mushroom coffee I have tried so far. It tastes better than RYZE, however, it doesn’t pack quite the same punch as far as the effects go. (Click here to read my review of RYZE mushroom coffee)

Everyday Dose dissolves completely and doesn’t leave any particle sludge in the bottom of the cup, which is nice.

I really liked the additional of collagen in Everyday Dose, because normally I add collagen powder to my coffee. Nice to get it all in one bag. Plus, the addition of collagen makes this coffee instantly a little more on the creamy side.

I highly recommend getting it on Amazon, if you don’t want to deal with the automatic subscription that they won’t let you cancel until keeping the product for 15 days: click here to try it on Amazon.

I stopped sharing my affiliate link to the Everyday Dose website, because when you click it, it would bring up a quote I never said, and I felt it was misleading. See below-

What’s in Everyday Dose Mushroom Coffee?

Everyday Dose coffee is a blend designed to provide a balanced and health-conscious alternative to traditional coffee.

Its key ingredients include:

  • Mushroom Blend: Incorporates extracts from Lion’s Mane and Chaga mushrooms, known for their potential cognitive and immune-boosting benefits.
  • Proprietary Coffee Blend: Features a low-acidity cold brew coffee extract, offering a smoother taste with reduced caffeine content—approximately 80% less caffeine than standard coffee.
  • Collagen Protein: Sourced from grass-fed bovine collagen, providing amino acids that support skin, hair, and joint health.
  • L-Theanine: An amino acid commonly found in tea leaves, included to promote relaxation and counterbalance the stimulating effects of caffeine.

This combination aims to deliver a coffee experience that enhances focus and well-being while minimizing the jitters and crashes associated with high caffeine intake.

The combination is also possibly the reason I didn’t get much of a “boost” from drinking it. It was a little odd to drink coffee and feel relaxed, as I usually drink it to get energy. I did miss the caffeine jolt in the morning.

The Final Verdict

Overall, I found it to be good tasting, and gentle on my stomach. But in the end, I didn’t find the price worth it to continue. I liked the feeling that RYZE gave me better, even though I don’t like the taste as much.

So, I went searching for a different option. One that was less expensive and didn’t require a subscription. It’s so annoying that a lot of these mushroom coffee places only have a subscription option.

I found VitaCup Mushroom Focus Coffee on Amazon for just $15, and am currently testing that one out.

It has the same two mushrooms as Everyday Dose (Lion’s Mane and Chaga) plus vitamins. It doesn’t have the collagen, but that can be added separately. I plan to do a full review on that one after a few weeks! So far, I do like it though.

One of the main things I like is that it is a real drip coffee, as opposed to the other two mushroom coffees I tried, which are instant coffee powder. Instant coffee never tastes quite right if you like the real thing.

Update: I tried the VitaCup focus for a few months: Click here to read my full review of VitaCup Focus Mushroom Coffee Grounds. In the end after trying all three coffees, I went back to RYZE. Click here to save 15% on RYZE mushroom coffee. It’s definitely worth a try.

More About the Mushrooms and Focus

The two mushrooms in Everyday Dose and VitaCup, Lion’s Mane and Chaga mushrooms, are often praised for their potential cognitive benefits, including improved focus.

Lion’s Mane Mushroom

  1. Supports Nerve Growth Factor (NGF):
    • Lion’s Mane contains compounds called hericenones and erinacines, which stimulate the production of NGF. NGF is crucial for the growth, repair, and maintenance of nerve cells in the brain, promoting neural health and cognitive function.
    • Improved neural health can enhance focus and concentration over time.
  2. Neuroprotection:
    • Lion’s Mane may help protect against cognitive decline by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress in the brain. This creates an optimal environment for mental clarity and sustained focus.
  3. Boosts Brain Plasticity:
    • Enhanced brain plasticity means better adaptability and learning, which can indirectly improve attention and focus.

Chaga Mushroom

  1. Antioxidant Powerhouse:
    • Chaga is rich in antioxidants, which combat oxidative stress that may impair brain function. A less stressed brain can maintain better focus and attention.
  2. Reduces Inflammation:
    • Chronic inflammation can negatively impact cognitive performance. Chaga’s anti-inflammatory properties may improve overall mental clarity and focus by reducing this burden.
  3. Supports Energy Levels:
    • Chaga is known for supporting sustained energy by balancing the body’s natural processes, reducing fatigue, and allowing for a more focused state of mind.

Combined Benefits

When used together, Lion’s Mane and Chaga provide a synergistic effect, addressing both the physiological and neurological aspects of focus. Lion’s Mane works directly on neural pathways, while Chaga supports overall brain health by protecting against external stressors like inflammation and oxidative damage.

I do think there’s something to it, as I’ve been trying mushroom coffee for a couple months now, and I’ve been blogging more than ever. Guess it really does get your brain going!

As a side note, if you are interested in trying the other coffees without a subscription, they are also available on Amazon, click here for Ryze and here for Everyday Dose.
