In the Book sent us a very cool gift for my son’s 6th birthday- a personalized story starring him as part of Lightning McQueen’s racing team. They have a full range of books to choose from, including ones with Disney and Marvel characters, and your child’s name can be incorporated into any of the stories.

A Personalized Story

The books, printed by Signature Book Publishing, make a wonderful, personalized gift and come in a very nice gift box. On the cover and all throughout the story, your child’s name is inserted as a main character. They also have over 100 choices of children’s books featuring unicorns, sports, fairy tales…all your child’s favorites. It was hard for me to narrow down my choice, but I went with Cars since he has loved that since he was a baby, and that was the theme of his birthday party.

How In the Book Works

The In the Book website makes ordering very easy- First you choose the story, then you can include a personalized message to be displayed in the intro. Some of the books also have the option to add a photo at the end of the story. The average cost for a soft cover is $24.99 and a hard cover is $34.99. Adding the gift box is an additional $10.

Setting up and ordering our book was very easy, and shipping was fast. They offer books for all ages, including board books for babies and books for adults too! My son was very excited to read his name on the cover and hear his name throughout the story. These books make a great gift for many different occasions from birthdays to baby showers and beyond.
