It’s a great time for a Snow White cosplay with a live-action Snow White in the works, and the original animated film being restored and remastered on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in October! I found a nice Snow White dress and wig on Amazon that makes it easy to put together this cosplay look.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Cosplay Costume
This Snow White cosplay dress isn’t an exact movie replica, but it’s close enough to be recognized easily as Snow White. It has the right colors and the iconic big white collar.
This particular dress does run small- I’m a size 10 and had to get an XL, mostly to fit the chest area. If you have a small chest, you won’t have to go as large. The lacing on the front does help with the fit!
The costume arrives in a package with the dress, front lacing and hair bow. Both the dress and bow needed to be steamed as they were very wrinkled. I spent a good amount of time steaming and you can still see some wrinkles in the skirt.
An iron actually might have worked better. I steamed the bow that came with the costume but opted to wear a different bow because the one that comes with it is too large and didn’t look as good as the smaller bow.

The red ribbon lacing is included, and I recommend lacing it in every other loop for the best fit. It does help the top fit better, but the neck gets weird if you pull it too tight.
The collar is made with interfacing for a little stiffness and does a good job of actually standing up on its own. I did need to steam the wrinkles out of it as well.
Overall the costume was a decent fit, with my only complaint being that it is a bit short on me. The waist fits me a bit too high, but most dresses are like that on me.
I finished the look with a pale foundation, thin dark brows, lush false lashes, bright red lips and vivid pink cheeks.

A Disney First
Did you know Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was Walt Disney Animation Studios’ very first ever animated feature?
This will be the first time that the classic film has been made available in vivid 4K UHD, as part of The Walt Disney Studios’ continuing major restoration program using new scans of the original nitrate negative and with the creative input of Disney Animation experts Eric Goldberg (one of the modern masters of Disney animation) and Michael Giaimo (production designer of Wish, Frozen, Frozen 2 and Pocahontas).
This newly restored version of the classic animated film is part of Disney’s 100th anniversary celebration and follows the recent restoration of Disney Animation’s Cinderella, released in 4K UHD earlier this year.
This new Disney100 edition will be released nationwide in a special collectible O-sleeve. There will also be a number of retail exclusives, with Best Buy offering a special Steelbook and Walmart offering animated titles in Disney100 edition slipcovers with a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs collectible pin.
