Internet scams are getting trickier, and now they’re creating entire fake websites spoofing huge brands like ColourPop. The most recent is ColourPopUSA.com, which has fooled many people into purchasing items they’ll never receive, according to a thread on Reddit.

Take a closer look at the new website ColourPopUSA.com and you’ll notice everything is not quite right. It’s just the latest scam website to pop up where they make it look like the real website, take orders and then never send them. They even have ads for this website popping up on Google when you search for ColourPop!

I ended up on the website through an ad and started looking around and it just didn’t seem right. The wording was off. Then I checked the contact info, and the address was in Hong Kong and there was a Gmail email address. Big red flag! The real ColourPop is located in Los Angeles, California.

And then there’s their very unconvincing About Us page that describes how great they are at making patio and outdoor products! Yes, I’m serious.

And then there’s the ads that promise you to “Make Skin Full of Elasticity.”

Because yeah, that sounds right for a company most known for their cool eye shadow palettes.

The Internet scams are getting more and more clever, with sites like these popping up overnight and disappearing just as fast. If it isn’t at this address, then there’s a new one out there somewhere. Always look closely at the website details before you shop!

And please leave a comment if you have found a new website impersonating ColourPop or any other big company. There’s a lot out there replicating SHEIN and scamming customers that way.
