Keane Interest: New on Etsy, a Kindergarten Tour and Mini Golf at Adventure Landing

This past week I put new Wonder Woman accessories in the Etsy shop, we toured the Kindergarten my son will attend in the fall and went mini-golfing at Adventure Landing in Jacksonville Beach.

New Wonder Woman Accessories on Etsy

I don’t have a lot of time to make costumes and costumey things these days, but when I got a message from a grandmother asking about my kid-size Wonder Woman accessories for her 4-year-old granddaughter, I couldn’t say no. The little girl loved to dress as Wonder Woman, but was disappointed the bracers that came with her costume were made of cloth. She wanted the real thing. I feel you, little four-year-old Wonder Woman. And I still remember what it was like to BE you. Mine were made from cardboard! So I pulled out my leftover materials and figured while I was at it, I might as well make a few extra pieces. So I added a few new kids and adult sets to the Etsy Shop. Everything is in silver though – I only have a couple sheets of gold left and the material is discontinued so I’m saving that for now.

We Toured the Kindergarten

It was kind of surreal to tour the school where my son will attend kindergarten later this year. I think I was more excited than he was. He mostly just wanted to go home and have a snack. I am super excited for him to start school in the fall, but I’m not gonna lie, I did actually tear up a little walking into the school for the first time. It’s such a big step!
We went mini-golfing at Adventure Landing in Jacksonville Beach and I’m pretty sure managed to break every rule on the course. Patience is not something that comes easy to a 4-year-old, so rather than wait for the next hole, we bounced around to whatever hole was open. We also had to stop and take time to climb on the rocks with the “No Climbing” sign. I was surprised he managed to keep the ball mostly on the green, although there was no waiting between putts. It was more like, let’s whack the ball constantly until it goes in the hole. That’s it for this past week! Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. I’ve been concentrating on tweaking the blog a bit with the set-up and categories- removing some, adding new ones and expanding others. And also going back through old posts and updating and improving the SEO. All little tweaks probably nobody but me will notice, lol. Well, hopefully me and Google!
