There’s something about the new year that always give me the itch to completely redesign my entire blog. I feel like I make the “Big Blog Changes Coming” post around this time every year. So here it is again! But this time I’m going in the opposite direction I usually take, and downgrading the website.

Yep, downgrade. As in, I’m moving from WordPress Business to WordPress Premium. I have two months until my business plan renews, but nothing is really pushing to me to pay $300 for another year.

The main difference is that my plug-ins won’t work anymore. I do like them, but I don’t think I like them for that price. But once I remove them, some things may not work the same. And there’s a small chance I may mess everything up. In fact, I just found out that to downgrade I have to reset back to the FREE version of WordPress with a basic site and then upgrade to Premium. So that sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun.

I have no idea what’s going to happen when I do that, but I anticipate a big mess so if the site looks really sad right now, that’s just me working on things.
