Legend of Korra fans get a treat this week from Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment with the release of The Legend of Korra – The Complete Series Limited Edition Steelbook Collection on Blu-Ray on March 16, 2021. Nickelodeon’s critically acclaimed, Emmy® Award-winning animated series receives the SteelBook® treatment with a 4-book collection featuring captivating new artwork by artist Caleb Thomas. Thomas was chosen by co-creator and executive producer Bryan Konietzko after he discovered the artist’s work on Instagram.

The four books each feature a different element (Fire, Water, Earth and Air). The front covers combine to showcase Korra’s physical journey to become the Avatar (Korra is the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender), while the back covers represent important moments in her spiritual journey. The set includes audio commentaries, a look at the creator’s favorite scenes and special featurettes like the New York Comic Con panel and The Spirit of an Episode.

The Spirit of Avatar Lives On

The Legend of Korra picks up 70 years after Avatar: The Last Airbender with new characters and a new setting. The story follows the Korra’s adventure as she faces the difficult challenges of becoming the new avatar and the responsibilities that go with that. From the very start where you meet Korra, to the opening of the portal, to restoring peace to the Earth Kingdom, you’ll follow all the air, earth, water and firebending in this complete collection.
