Good morning and Merry Christmas to all! I wanted to get a post out before I take a few days off and not bother with being online and checking things. All the planning and wrapping ended in a 10-minute blur of presents a bit too early for my liking. So now I’m just trying to get fueled up with some coffee.

I like to send an update with our cards every year. I wish more people did this! I want to know what friends and family have been up to. Usually all I can gather from the card is that your children have grown a bit. But regardless, it is still nice to get a card. I feel like we get less of them every year.

I save at least one of our own cards every year so I can look back and ready the stories. It was a good year with ups and downs. We still have a week left to go! I’m off to make the best of it. And maybe wake up a little.
