    Tutorial: How to Make Faux Freckles with Makeup

    There are a number of ways you can create faux freckles with makeup, from splattering to hand dotting. The method I usually use involves a hair pin and cream make-up. You can use eye shadow as well, but the freckles will be much lighter than a full coverage cream or oil face/body makeup.     My latest makeup inspiration comes from Robecca Steam, a steampunk robot girl from Monster High. She has blue hair, wears bright purple eye shadow and has bronze skin with rivets. I went more golden with my skin, and didn’t apply as many rivets as she has, but the overall effect is similar. In the tutorial I show how I applied my makeup, and the rivets.
