My latest makeup inspiration comes from Robecca Steam, a steampunk robot girl from Monster High. She has blue hair, wears bright purple eye shadow and has bronze skin with rivets. I went more golden with my skin, and didn’t apply as many rivets as she has, but the overall effect is similar. In the tutorial I show how I applied my makeup, and the rivets.

In this video, I show how I did my make-up and applied the rivets and then matched them to my skin. It’s a bit more of a demo rather than a full tutorial because I don’t do any talking, so please refer to the makeup details below.
MAKEUP DETAILS: (*includes affiliate links)
EYES:
All eye shadow is from the Pretty All Set palette from UCANBE. With 86 colors and just $18, I wasn’t sure how good the colors would be, but I was happy with most of them. This is a good starter set, or a set to fill in colors you might not have with some of the more expensive brands. Some of the colors were not as intense as I’d like, and they didn’t blend as well as the pricey palettes, but I’m sure I will still get a lot of use out of it.
The liquid liner is by LA Looks. I picked it up at the Dollar Tree and gave it a try. I was surprised how well it worked! But I only wore it for about an hour, so not sure of its staying power. I also used it on my brows to make them look more painted on, after drawing them on with a pencil.
Lashes are by Kiss Beauty Products, from the Lash Couture Faux Mink Collection, in Matte Black. https://www.tkqlhce.com/click-100206449-14314138 *Use code WELCOME20 and save 20% on their website.

FACE:
I used a light bronze and highlighted with gold, all from the UCANBE Pretty All Set palette.
The rivets are rhinestones. You can use actual flat rivets or even small googly eyes. Anything rivet shaped will work! Paint the back with spirit gum and let it dry a moment. It needs to be tacky or it will fall right off. Once you have them all placed, let them dry for a few minutes before moving on. (I only did a small area, but Robecca is covered with more rows of rivets on her face and body)
Once the rivets were set, I used the F*ck I’m Flawless concealer IL MAKIAGE and covered them, which gave the bronzer something to stick to. You can skip this step if you stuck on actual rivets and don’t need to match or blend them.
