Toyopia at MOSH Jacksonville
MOSH’s main exhibit until 5/16/21 is Toyopia- a vintage toy wonderland with life-size games and tons of nostalgia! We took advantage of the free military day on Veteran’s Day, but MOSH is free for kids all through November.

Lowe’s Build and Grow Workshop
Did you know both Lowe’s and Home Depot do FREE kids workshops every month? We had attended a kid’s workshop at Home Depot before, but this was going to be a first at Lowes! We found a class and signed up online at DIY Lowes Workshops. Unfortunately, due to COVID, they are avoiding group activities right now, so we just picked up our DIY bulldozer kit and took it home. It was nice that they included the apron and goggles we would have gotten if we did an in-store class.

A Halloween Win from Iron in a Bottle
I didn’t get to go out anywhere for Halloween (besides neighborhood trick-or-treating) but I did enter a Halloween contest! Iron in a Bottle had a contest to show how we put their product to use and I won a VISA gift card! Woohoo!

I’ve been listing tons of stuff on Poshmark and eBay the past couple months, including a lot of my personal costumes that no longer fit. The one shown here is a vintages dress I wore to go see John Waters’ Christmas Special. A friend and I dressed up like characters from the movie Hairspray and we got to meet him after the show!
A lot of these outfits are stored in boxes and full of wrinkles! So instead of pulling out the iron, I’ve been saving time by just spritzing the clothes with Iron in a Bottle and smoothing the wrinkles away with my hand.
