Steven Bartlett is the latest name to get spoofed in the Tony Terry / Robby Robinson Facebook podcast scam. If you’ve gotten an e-mail inviting you to be a podcast guest on Facebook live for $3,000, delete, block, run away as fast as you can.
Steven Bartlett is a real person and not associated with this scam. They have stolen his name and are just using him, posing as his manager.

They Will Steal Your Facebook Page
The e-mails from Tony Terry and Robby Robinson are similar, but with different topics. It’s all the same scam though!
If you do book a time with them, they will contact you to set up Facebook live in advance. They will ask you to screen share, where they will helpfully walk you through the process of stealing your Facebook page without your knowledge.
A recent scam victim and well-known blogger with a Facebook page of over 350k followers contacted me asking about the scam this morning. The scammers were trying to reel in very big fish, but she caught on before they could totally take over. They did, however, manage to switch out her payment account and delete her bank account that would normally get her subscription payments.
When I got her message this morning, I wanted to get this post up ASAP in hopes the name will start popping up for other people searching to check and see if this offer is legit. She did try searching first, and everything that popped up about Steven Bartlett made it seem like this was a legit offer. As of this morning, she is actually still dealing with the scammers and trying to figure out where her payments are going to go.
Her experience also gives some more insight into the things they can do once they take over your page. I hadn’t even considered the option of stealing your subscription payments, because I haven’t activated subscriptions on my page.
I hope you found this post before you got scammed! Facebook is notoriously impossible to reach, and it takes a huge effort to get any kind of customer service support.
If they took your page, try to get to a live person. Try going through every avenue possible until you reach someone. They keep changing how to do it, and keep changing the location of the links so unfortunately, I can’t point you in any sort of helpful direction. The only thing I can do is get the word out about these awful people and their scam tactics.

I clicked the zoom link to meet with them and it was an Indian kid. I never signed in to FB or anything… am I still at risk of being hacked?
If it was on Zoom only, I think you should be ok. The trouble happens when you screen share while on Facebook.
Thank you. I’ve been offered $4k.
Well hopefully you found the post before you took them up on the offer!
