    It’s been a busy week with the launch of our book, live streams to promote it and getting together to sign all the GoFundMe copies.     This past week we went to WasabiCon, had lunch at the new 10/Six Grille, enjoyed the cooler weather and tried out cute inspirational shirts for kids from “I Will Be What I See.” WasabiCon 2019 The con was packed when we arrived on Saturday!     Ready to try a comic con and wondering what to expect at WasabiCon right here in Jacksonville, FL? Here’s a quick overview, from someone who’s been going to this convention since it started in 2012! I originally wrote this post in 2019 but have updated it with the most recent info.     The past week I got myself a nifty new seat belt strap cover called a Chewbelta, gave magnetic eyelashes a try, stayed at the LEGOLAND beach retreat and sent off a box of Geek Mamas air fresheners for the early birds at WasabiCon. It’s Called a Chewbelta! I’m a big Star Wars fan and have been known to dress like my favorite Wookiee on occasion. I also wear tank tops almost every day and the seat belt rubs my shoulder and neck.
